The launch of Friends of the Brain marked a significant milestone in advancing mental health awareness, advocacy, and support in our society. The importance of this initiative was evident in the caliber of distinguished guests who honored the occasion with their presence.
At our foundation, we believe this launch is the beginning of a new chapter — one that brings mental health to the forefront of public discourse and ensures no one is left behind.
The event was formally declared open by the Honourable Minister of Health, setting the tone for a program dedicated to promoting wellness, education, and community engagement in mental health. Also in attendance were representatives of key national and state institutions, including the Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, and the State Ministries of Education and Health. Their participation highlighted the broad commitment across health, education, and social sectors to address the challenges surrounding mental health and substance abuse.
